Hello! My name is Cheyenne Reumann. This is my name sign (C taps the inner forearm near the elbow). Why did I decide to go into the interpreting profession? Back when I was in high school, I had to.. look for a “foreign” language class. I had 3 different options. French, Spanish and ASL. I didn’t want to take Spanish or French because I wanted to be different! I decided to take ASL.
So as time went on, I slowly learned, engrossing myself and growing a facination for the language. After I graduated high school, I decided, later on, I will be an interpreter. I began working on my web development degree first.
Life went on until around the year 2022. I decided to switch over to the interpreting program. From then on I continued learning, improving and interpreting.
One thing to keep in mind, my skilled back in high school are not the same. They improved tremendously. During this time, what I learned back in high school was different from what I was learning now. I had to change my way of thinking.
Anyways, moving on from my school career. In my spare time, I enjoy doing a variety of thing. Including listening to music, reading books, crocheting, watching TV and hanging out with friends and my fiance.
Now I am a student at Sinclair College. Here soon in May, next month, I will graduate with 2 degrees. They are Interpreter education and Web Development. I am excited! And yeah. Thank you for watching!
